What if you threw a protest, and only half the people showed up?
The final numbers are out for the "massive" protest yesterday put on by United for Peace and Justice. Predictions for the march ranged anywhere from 250,000 to 400,000. It was billed as a massive show of anti-W ism by "The People".
Well, here's the final talley: 100,000.
Not bad, but if that's the best you can do in New York, your support level is pretty week. At any given time there are 100,000 people wandering the streets of Manhattan in search of something to march in protest about.
Nice try guys.
