Republic. I like the sound of the word. It means people can live free, talk free, go or come, buy or sell, be drunk or sober, however they choose. Some words can give you a feeling that makes your heart warm. Republic is one of those words. - John Wayne

Howlin' Mad Howard Dean
by Cordeiro
Every time I start to actually believe the MSM tripe about the impending GOP implosion, Howlin' Mad Howard "I Have A Scream" Dean reminds me that no matter how bad the outlook may be for Republicans, the Democrat machine is much further down the road to oblivion.

In years past, a speech by the Democratic National Committee Chairman given before some 400 loyalists at an out of the way Armory in Maine would not have garnered a post script in any paper. I'm pretty sure the Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram don't get much distribution south of Vermont. But now, thanks to Drudge and the internet, you can now read about Howie's latest diatribe. I quote verbatim, but rest assured, I couldn't make up half the stuff that seems to be at the forefront of Howie's frontal lobes.

The Bush White House is the most corrupt administration in U.S. history since President Warren G. Harding.
Oh come on Howie. You can do better than this. Well, maybe you can't. Perhaps you have deliberately blocked out the presidency covering the years 1993-2001. Let me help you remember - he was the one far too busy meeting with Monica to chase Usama.

The first thing we're going to do is we're going to have ethics come back to Washington again.
Sure, lets return to the days of Dan Rostenkowski, Tip O'Neill, and Abscam. Pop quiz Howie: Which party has a rule in place stating anyone indicted (by an Inspector Cluseau like District Attorney or not) must step down from House leadership. Hint: It's not your party.

We have to stand up and say who we are and why we believe what we believe.
By all means, Howie, please do. Raising Taxes, Socialized Medicine, Political Correctness at the expense of National Security. Stand up and be heard.

I'm tired of the ayatollahs of the right wing. We're fighting for freedom in Iraq. We're going to fight for freedom in America.
Tired of the ayatollahs? Probably just as much as I'm tired of the leftist appeasement movement that dominates your end of the political spectrum. Next time somebody from our side slanders you in a like fashion, Howie, you've just given up your right to complain.

As long as this guy is the front man for the Democrats, concerned as I may be about Republicans, I'm not worried. Memo to the MSM: Give this guy more air time.

Here endeth the lesson.

Lets see, Delay, Frisk, Libby, and Rove. Yes getting oral in the white house is so much worse than, money laundering, outting a cia op. and insider trading. Are you trying to convince us or yourself that the democrates and bad and the republicans are the second coming?
Howard Dean has said much worse than this. If this is what has gotten you upset, you need to take a serious break from politics.
Prisoner! Glad to see you back! I know Howlin' Mad Howie has said worse - the only thing that irritates me about him is that if he were on the receiving end of similar rhetoric, the whining would be loud enough to shatter glass.
