SOTR Announces Defamation Suit Agains Jacques Chirac

The Sons of the Republic Blog announced today its intent to file a Defamation lawsuit against French President Jacques Chirac for unauthorized use of the SOTR moniker. As evidence to this transgression, the SOTR submit the following quote:

I wish to tell the children from these difficult neighbourhoods, whatever their origins, that they are all sons and daughters of the republic.

For the record, the SOTR resent Chirac's description of the terrorist thugs as "sons and daughters of the republic". These thugs are criminals and will continue to behave as such until such time as their behavior is modified - either forcibly or voluntarily - most likely the former.
