FBI Searches For Criminals and Terrorists in US
by Cordeiro
I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you. Well, so is the New York Times.
The Old Gray Lady, in yet another attempt to incite outrage by reporting the obvious, today reports that the FBI is hunting for criminals and terrorists by using innovative law enforcement techniques such as
- Visiting and monitoring web sites and other public entities in developing terrorism leads.
- Monitoring mosques linked to the support (monetary and otherwise) of terrorists
- Downloading information from web sites of organizations such as Greenpeace, PeTa, and other groups linked to the militant and destructive environmentalist groups known as Earth First! and the Animal Liberation Front
It's clear that this administration has engaged every possible agency, from the Pentagon to N.S.A. to the F.B.I., to engage in spying on Americans.Yep, that makes sense to me. Organizations with ties to domestic terrorist groups responsible for some $200 million in damage puts up a publicly accessible website and expects the Feds to turn a blind eye to it. I don't know where she got her law degree from, but she needs to get a refund.
There is no right to criminal or terrorist activity protected by the US Constitution. If these organizations are stupid enough to publish their plans for criminal and terrorist activities in a public forum, they shouldn't be surprised when heavily armed Feds in body armor show up and turn their doors into firewood.
Here endeth the lesson.
