Republic. I like the sound of the word. It means people can live free, talk free, go or come, buy or sell, be drunk or sober, however they choose. Some words can give you a feeling that makes your heart warm. Republic is one of those words. - John Wayne

Who Is More Likely To Smoke Crack?
by Cordeiro
A) Spike Lee

or

B) Condoleeza Rice

Well, according to Spike the answer is B. Evidently Mr. Lee believes any African American person not sharing his mindset must be on crack. In the April of Stuff Magazine he blasts Condi for her actions during Hurricane Katrina. Said the eloquent Mr. Lee:

Condi, stop smoking that crack! I know you love your Ferragamo shoes, but come on. While people were drowning in New Orleans, she was going up and down Madison Ave buying Ferragamo shoes. Then she went to see 'Spamalot'.
Memo to Spike Lee: Condoleeza Rice is the Secretary of State for the United States of America. The State Department is an office in the Executive Branch of the government charged with handling foreign affairs. New Orleans is a city in the state of Louisiana, which at last count, was part of the United States. I checked, and although Louisiana was a member of the Confederacy, it was readmitted to the Union following the Civil War. That makes New Orleans a domestic issue - not one falling under the jurisdiction of the US Department of State.

Unless and until you can tell me the heroic actions of the Secretaries of State of the Clinton (Sorry Excuse For) Administration taken during the many hurricanes that hit the US during its 8 year reign, may I suggest that you, sir, put the crack pipe down and go back to making critically acclaimed, widely heralded, and highly publicized movies that nobody goes to see.

Here endeth the lesson.
